My name is Hendriena. I’m 50 years old. Being active has kept my body in shape. When I was 39 somebody encouraged me to do the Argus. I enjoyed it so much that I started cycling competitively and in my 40’s became one of the top ladies in the country!
I recently went onto this Wellness Programme and the first thing I noticed was my increased energy levels. I developed lots more stamina, endurance and definitely more lean muscle mass. I didn’t really need to lose weight but lost 2 or 3 kgs which I’m not sorry about! My friends began to notice and some of the personal trainers at the gym asked me what I was doing differently. They are now on this programme too!
Thanks to this amazing Wellness Programme I’m looking forward to the next 50 years as I’m just looking better with age!
My name is Phillip from Gauteng. I am 46 years old. I used to be very active, playing rugby and going to a gym regularly. With a hectic lifestyle, on the road most of the time and long working hours, I gradually picked up more and more weight. In Dec ‘06 I weighed 113kg. By then we had already entered the Argus cycling race. I knew that I had to lose weight before the race in March.
January 8th ‘07 I started with this Wellness Programme. I followed the programme with the help of my Personal Wellness Coach and concentrated on my protein intake. I also started training seriously in the gym and did a lot of spinning classes. My appetite was under control and I had enough energy to train hard. I gradually saw on my belt holes that I was losing considerable fat around my waist. People remarked that I was looking slimmer. On 11 March (Argus day) I weighed 12kgs less!
I lost 12kgs in 2 ½ months and felt great!
My name is Izell. My whole life I’ve been healthy & active in sports. But in ‘99 I got ill & after a liver biopsy it was determined that I had liver dysfunction due to a severe case of Jaundice. I lost 13kg in 4 months & was terribly underweight for my length. Dieticians couldn’t solve my problem and I battled with my weight ever since. I had no resistance to illnesses and constantly battled with the flu, colds, arthritis, sinusitis and PMS. As you can imagine, I had very low energy levels & immune system which impacted negatively on my exercise regime.
In Oct ‘07 I phoned my Wellness Coach and began using this Wellness Programme. I soon started feeling energetic & could cycle again. In Dec ‘07 I began cycling with my husband & 4 of his training partners (all men). I was very surprised how my strength increased & my recovery improved while on this programme. We trained 4 days a week and on Saturday mornings we did a long distance ride. We trained very hard with different intervals & muscle exercises. The last race (before the Argus,) I did a rolling hills course, 80km in 2h14.
I am happy to say that I’ve gained weight & now have a normal BMI of 20. I have lots of energy, no sinus, no arthritis & haven’t been sick as yet. I recommend this Wellness Programme if you want to gain or maintain weight, but most of all, it is a healthy nutritional sports programme that works!
It changed my life!!!
